About Us

SOUFA Empowerment Foundation and Rehoboth Souls for Christ Outreach were founded by Evangelist Helen Chinedum Aninyei in 2006. Over the years, both organizations have provided succor to widow/widower groups as well as indigent children. They were formally registered in 2017 as charity-based nongovernment organizations. The organizations have championed vocational training for numerous widows. And seek to ensure self-reliance for the widows and youth. They are also deeply committed to advocacy for the rights of the poor, especially widows.

The objectives include

To give succor to widows and orphans
To cater for the motherless babies, the less privileged
To embark on programs and advocacy for the socio empowerment of women and youth to be self-reliant
To encourage and support our women and youth to be self-reliant
To promote the rights of every woman and child
To encourage the youth, widows, and orphans through vocational programs
To give help and support to the sick and elderly in the society
